LinkinParkが2010年に発表した4作目のアルバム「A Thousand Suns」
その前の3作目のアルバムは、1、2作の雰囲気から方向が少し変わったと話題になりましたが、
この4作目はさらにその上を行く「方向性の転換」（？）で話題になりました。
賛否両論あったようですが、個人的には大好きなアルバム。中でもこの曲はかなりイイ！
昔聴いたプログレっぽい壮大な雰囲気があって目を閉じて聴くと宇宙に漂っている感じが・・・

「持ちこたえろ、世界の重みは立ち向かう強さを与えるだろう」・・・
「持ちこたえろ、世界の重みは立ち向かう強さを与えるだろう」・・・
曲の終わりに何度も繰り返されるこのフレーズは、
「持ち上げて 解き放して」と日本語の歌詞が続きます
このアルバム全体が「核戦争」をテーマにしている、と聞きました
全曲通して、無彩色、グレーなイメージ・・・無常観、寂寥感が漂っているような感じがします
